When starting your first scrapbook you need the best layout. Whether you’re doing scrapbooking layouts for baby or a scrabooking farm layout, you need the right tools and guidance.
A nice template or border puts some extra spice to the right picture, but don’t add too much. Simple and sweet is the best way to go.
Another way to make a picture standout is by cropping, a rounded corner can go a long way, too.
Borders
You can find scrapbooking easter borders, christmas borders, sports borders or anything you could think of. Also creativity can come into play and you can make your own. You can buy guide tools that will help you to make your border special. Whether you are trying to make it perfectly straight or just trying to get a loose and fun border.
Cropping
Zooming in on the part of the picture that stands out is a great way to put a better focus. Some ideas for scrapbooking crops that I like are interesting shapes, don’t always make a square, adding some geometry to your picture will make it stand out more. Rounding edges also makes a picture more engaging, it will give the picture the spotlight.
Paper
The right paper for your design can also accent your pictures. Most of the sheets are scrapbooking 8.5 x 11 paper. You can use entire sheets or just cut it down to fit certain photographs or other images. Your scrapbooking layouts can be very unique with the right choice!
With all the layouts you could possibly choose, keep in mind that creativity is the key. You can read any book or watch any video, but you have to add in your own spice. Make your scrapbook one of a kind!
