Preschool thanksgiving crafts can cheer up your Thanksgiving

By Brandi W.

Little children always love to be in the spirit of the holidays. When thanksgiving is around, you always need thanksgiving craft ideas, so why not make something with your child that they can show.

Other than just pilgrim crafts you can make a turkey pin for their shirt. So when they go to school they can show everyone what they made! This preschool thanksgiving craft can be fun for all ages but is also easy to make. I am going to tell you what you need and how to do it.

Materials

  1. Safety Pin
  2. Construction Paper
  3. Colorful Feathers
  4. Plastic Eyes
  5. Hot glue gun

Instructions

First you will need your child to trace their hand to make the feather shape for the turkey. You can then cut a shape out for the body, using your child’s foot will work. After these two pieces are together you will need to hot glue the safety pin on the back, the colorful feathers to the fingers, and the eyes to make the turkey’s face. Your child can also draw things on the front like a beak if they would like.

This preschool thanksgiving craft will make a wonderful gift, decoration or just something to be held onto. Enjoy the time that you will be able to spend with your special child.
