When Christmas rolls around all little ones get excited about decorating the tree. Some children will want to do snowflake crafts or candy cane crafts, but majority want to make the best ornament.
There are many simple Christmas crafts that’s why I am going to explain the star ornament. This is an easy preschool Christmas craft for all ages. It will be fun and exciting for any age in your household, as it allows creativity.
Materials Needed
- Ribbon/String
- Construction Paper
- Tissue paper
- Glitter
- Glue
Instructions
The first thing that will need to be done is to cut the construction paper into a star. You as an adult will need to help your child with this step. After this is done you can cut out little shapes in the tissue paper, scrunching them up will give it a nice look. Glue the tissue on the construction paper. You can cover it completely or however you think best. You can now add glitter if needed. Some other ideas for this would be to draw a face on it, or put a picture of your child on it. Be creative and use your imagination. The last thing you will need to do is put the string/ribbon on it in order to hang it from the tree.
Preschool Christmas crafts are fun and enjoyable and can be done by any age. Let your child feel important with there own ornament on the tree.
