Remember that day at the beach with craft projects with seashells

By Brandi W.

When summer comes along, most children think beach. They are ready for that summer vacation. If you can’t go this summer, bring it to them. Craft projects with seashells will spark their ocean memory. It will excite them and will help fulfill their want of the beach.

When making craft projects with seashells you can make them complicated or easy. You can also use real seashells or buy some at a craft store. Some things can be a picture frame or a necklace. With imagination anything is possible. Here are some things that I find interesting.

Shadow Box Beach Scene

Using a shadow box picture frame you can bring the beach to your house; you can put sand and seashells in the bottom while using blue tissue paper to make a replica of the water. You can even put little gold fish in to add some extra spice. This will be a fun craft for you and children of all ages. Plus you will be able to look at your own beach all the time.

Shell Frame

This picture frame is also a fun craft and will be fun for your kids of any age. It is also very simple. You simply need a frame, a hot glue gun and seashells. Glue the seashells onto the frame in no particular order. Use your imagination and you will have a beautiful frame in no time. Your child can give this as a gift or you can use it as decoration in your own house.

Craft projects with seashells are fun for children of all ages. They are also wonderful gifts. Be creative and enjoy the time with your child.
