Go to the bottom of the ocean with octopus craft projects

By Brandi W.

Kids love to learn about animals, they fascinate them. Why not make a craft out of them? As most people know making learning fun is the best thing to do. Octopus craft projects can be a fun way to do this. Help them learn how many legs they have (8), ect.

There are many things you could do as a Octopus craft project; you could even make an entire fish scene, to teach your kid how the octopus fits into their world. Some other things range from a stuffed octopus to a octopus bead key chain. Below is a Octopus craft project that I enjoy and highly recommend.

Styrofoam Cup Octopus

You will need pipe cleaners, a styrofoam cup and wiggly eyes. First you will need to make eight wholes around the edge of the open end to the cup. This will be the bottom of the octopus. You will stick your pipe cleaners into these wholes and bend it on the inside so they stay. You can add your eyes and decorate your cup in any other way you choose.

This craft can be done with many ages. It is not too difficult and will be easy to comprehend. The lesson behind the craft, if you choose one will be the age differ when doing this. Be creative and enjoy crafting and learning with your child.
