Great ideas for using old CD's in CD crafts

By Brandi W.

When it comes to unique crafts to do with your child, CD crafts has to be very close to the top. It is fun and enjoyable and is not something everyone will have done. Your children will think that these are very fun.

You can make anything from a picture frame to a pencil holder. Anything is possible with imagination and craftiness. Below are some crafts that I find to be very interesting.

CD Bowl

By putting a cd on a metal bowl and sticking in the oven on low heat, it will get soft. This will make it bendable. For the bottom hole you can glue it to a small plate, or other material you find appropriate. You can use this as decoration, a candy dish or many other things.

CD Magnet

This is also a fun craft. You will need paint, a CD and a magnet. You will paint the blank side of the CD with whatever you feel. It could be a flower or a baseball or a star. After this you will need to put the magnet on the back of the CD. You can hang this on the fridge or give it as a gift.

Both of these unique crafts are fun and exciting for someone of any age. This will bring you and your family together. So enjoy it!
