When the 4th of July comes along, your kids can only think about fireworks. Keep their minds off of them by doing some crafts with them. Stars are a great thing to use for these wonderful patriotic crafts.
These crafts can be anything from tissue boxes to wreaths. You can use them as gifts, party favors or decorations. Below are some of my favorite star craft projects:
Patriotic picture frame
For this, you will need a plain wood frame, and paint. You can paint the frame one solid color, such as red, blue or white. You could also do a pattern. After doing a base color you can then paint the stars on top of the solid color. You can also add glitter on it while it is wet to make it stick. Put a special picture in it or take a picture on the 4th of July just for your new frame.
Star Ornament
This is something that doesn’t necessarily have to be for the fourth of July but is still a fun craft. You will need to cut two stars the same size out of construction paper. On one you will need to put a slit in the top the other the bottom. You will be able to slide them right into each other. Make a whole in the top and thread string through it. This will make an adorable ornament add decoration as you want!Stars are wonderful crafts and can be as creative as you want them to be. Be a star yourself and make something unique.
