Have baby food jars lying around your house from a little one, or know someone that does? Don’t just throw them away, use them to be creative. You can make fun crafts out of them such as plant jars, or candle holders.
These things can be great as presents, decorations, or just to make for fun. These gifts are easy, and not too time consuming. So don’t wait get started now!
Here are a few of my favorites:
Magic Reindeer Food in a jar
For this you will need a baby food jar, oats, and green and red sprinkles. You can layer them in the jar or you can mix them all together, this depends on the look you want. You can then tie green and red ribbon around the top to decorate it. Your children will love this; they will be so excited on Christmas Eve when they get to sprinkle them in the yard.
Potpourri Jars
For this you will need a baby food jar, potpourri, a doily, and ribbon. Fill the baby food jar with your favorite potpourri and instead of using the lid put the doily on top and tie the ribbon around it. You may want to use a rubber band or a hair tie to hold the doily down also. These are great gifts, and can be used for centerpieces at events such as weddings, receptions, or just special occasions.Keep in mind that when your creative you can make anything crafty. Use your imagination and go farther with these things, they are fun and relaxing. What better way to occupy your time than by doing a craft? Have fun and let the ideas flow!
