Use these jars to put your potpourri and to help make the house smell better. Cover the top with your choice fabric and a ribbon to let the scent come through. You and your child can use these mason jar crafts as gifts, or you can use them as small-goods for your own house.

Another way to bond with your child, and to teach them a thing or two about the kitchen. For this you pick your favorite recipe and put the ingredients in the mason jar. You can decorate this by putting a ribbon around it. Attach directions and title of recipe to inform others or yourself how to make the item in the jar.
