Bond with your daughter with mason jar crafts

By Brandi W.

Mason jar crafts are the perfect way to bring a mother and daughter together. There are many different possibilities to use mason jars during arts and crafts time, so be sure to bring your creative imagination to the table. So what are some ideas for these crafts?

Candles can be made in a variety of ways using mason jars. The new craze is using gel candles, while more traditional candles using the sand grains are possible too. Mason jar crafts can also be used to create crafty candleholders. Listed below are some I find most interesting.

Potpourri Use

Use these jars to put your potpourri and to help make the house smell better. Cover the top with your choice fabric and a ribbon to let the scent come through. You and your child can use these mason jar crafts as gifts, or you can use them as small-goods for your own house.

Recipe Jars

Another way to bond with your child, and to teach them a thing or two about the kitchen. For this you pick your favorite recipe and put the ingredients in the mason jar. You can decorate this by putting a ribbon around it. Attach directions and title of recipe to inform others or yourself how to make the item in the jar. This is another mason jar craft that can be a great gift.

These crafts are great ways for you to bond with your child, especially the mother daughter relationship.
